Performance Fabric Care

Daily Maintenance

  • Vacuum regularly using an upholstery attachment to prevent dirt buildup
  • Rotate cushions monthly to ensure even wear
  • Fluff and reshape down-blend cushions after use
  • Keep away from direct heat sources (fireplaces, radiators)

Spot Cleaning

Our Revolution™ fabrics are inherently stain-resistant and PFAS-free, making cleanup simple:

For most spills:

  1. Act quickly - blot (don't rub) excess liquid immediately
  2. Use mild soap - mix warm water with gentle dish soap
  3. Blot gently with a clean, white cloth from the outside of the stain inward
  4. Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove soap residue
  5. Air dry completely before using

For stubborn stains:

  • Bleach-cleanable: Use diluted bleach solution (1:10 ratio)
  • Wine, coffee, juice: Blot immediately, then clean with soap solution
  • Grease/oil: Use a small amount of dish soap directly on the stain before cleaning
  • Pet accidents: Spray immediately with enzyme cleaner, then soap solution

Deep Cleaning

  • Use an upholstery steam cleaner with detergent
  • Ensure fabric is completely dry before use

Down-Blend Cushion Care

Regular Fluffing

Our standard down-blend cushions are lower maintenance, but require some attention to maintain their shape and comfort:

  • Shake and fluff cushions after use
  • Punch and reshape to redistribute filling
  • Rotate the position of the back cushions regularly
  • Turn seat cushions periodically (if applicable)

Deep Fluffing Technique

  1. Remove cushions from the sofa
  2. Hold the cushion by the opposite corners
  3. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds
  4. Punch the center of the cushion to redistribute the down
  5. Smooth cover and reshape to the original form

Maintaining Loft

  • Sun exposure: Place cushions in sunlight for 2-3 hours to refresh and sanitize the fibers
  • Air circulation: Ensure good airflow around the sofa
  • Avoid compression: Don't store heavy items on cushions
